SREDA FILM was founded by documentary film makers Victor Kossakovsky (St. Petersburg) and Viola Stephan (Berlin) who have been working together since 1993.

The company was named after its first production “Sreda, 19.VII.1961” (Wednesday, 19.7.1961) directed by Victor Kossakovsky.
